BF2Players.net: The easy way to find Battlefield 2 players and best game servers!

August 2nd, 2006: Site upgrade + first release of BF2Players.net Game Launcher

BF2Players.net was upgraded to version 1.05 and the first beta of the BF2Players.net Game Launcher is available!

Further, all public buddy lists are now available as RSS-Newsfeed so that you can watch activity of all your BF2 buddies through any RSS-Reader (tested with Firefox and Opera).

May 26th, 2006: Site upgrade + new IRC bot script

BF2Players.net was upgraded to version 1.04 and a new version of the IRC bot script is available.

From now on you can follow up the public changelog of www.BF2players.net. As you may have experienced, not every site upgrade is announced with a seperate news, but the changelog will now track all relevant changes.

The IRC bot script now has a "buddy-watch" function, more details are available in IRC script download section.

March 29th, 2006: New Server and the end of beta testing

The beta test of BF2Players.net was finished today by moving to a new and much more powerful web server.

As announced, all the user accounts created during the beta test won't be available in final status anymore. You have to register a new account again in order to use all the member functions. If you really need access to your old buddy lists and account settings, you can still login to the old web site at http://old.bf2players.net using your old username and password until end of April, 2006.

The documentation will be completed in German and English language within the next weeks.
