It was not the speed which was outrageous. The lack of thinking was the degree of wanting to think. A scrap of scraped paper, pastel, unlimited reference, how-to-yourself. No detailed sketch. The insufficiency of a proper planning step. A block-in alone, and a determination not to continue everything with everything crossed. Go here to get most interesting topics!

Through that half the usual time was saved.

The initial stage of the painting entailed the use of huge forms rather than describing everything in the painting. Sky first. Big, nearly disheveled lines. Not mixed immediately, which is false when you have been too serious in following the old advice.

The justification is the necessity to make everything in order. This is where time is mostly squandered.

The amateur has left these lines here open. All the colors should be put next to each other. It was some kind of a lump, alright. However, it made the painting structured during the initial years.

Then the land, Two or three colors, crudely blocked in. No tiny details. No grass blades. Righteousness and direction. The entire work appeared to be half completed, yet there was already a feeling of substance coming up.

That is what they do not mention. When the ground is not laid out, they are starting to prostrate themselves in details.

After the span of about ten minutes the blending was commenced. And just in some places pressurise light. Not everywhere. The difference was restraint instead of the anticipated one. There were sides that were acute, and softened sufficiently.

It was in contrast to minimal effort.

A little was also aroused to boldness. The dark accents in English had already been in existence when the most of the future accents users had not been born. The distance is blacker one. A few other lines in the foreground.

The second occasion that it was hazardous. This would be a disgrace to everyone.

It didn’t.

It literally used the whole pastel painting as a foundation. The brighter colours were more reasonable at a flash. That back and forth movement and contraction of light and dark rendered it to look as a finish in a moment which could not be executed by any stratification.

The other minute detail is that there is no sequence of color. The amateur had the confinement of a limited palette of pastels. Decreased decision-making, less uncertainty. You would imagine the amount of time spent on the following stick.

The painting could have been said to be complete at approximately 15 minutes. However, there were two last details that ended it. A highlight here. A great deal about nothing.

And there they were halted.

The most challenging one is probably the most difficult one.

The majority of the people continue on. Incorporating, confusing, not fixing things that do not need to be fixed. And that is what renders a new picture a tiresome one.

This is one that was not granted such an opportunity.

It stayed loose. Slightly imperfect. But full of energy.

And that is what the light pastel work tells us in short it is not about hurrying. It is not that you need not do the things that are not only slackening you but are not necessarily making the result any better in any manner.

Once those habits are removed off the list, 20 minutes is starting to look like a lot of time.
